Class of 1974

50th Reunion Information
Saturday, September 14, 2024

6:15 p.m. - 11:00 p.m

Harborside Grand Ballroom

400 Main St., Newport Beach, CA 92661

 

Dressy casual attire recommended. Guest(s) welcome.

 

6:15 p.m. - Registration

Enjoy iced tea; coffee; lemonade; sodas; light appetizers.

Make the rounds with classmates.

Cash, non-hosted bar serving beer, wine, mixed drinks, including Scottails, available all evening (credit card or cash accepted)

7:45 - 11:00 p.m. - Enjoy buffet dinner and dessert. 

Partake in festivities:

DJ/videos; fun facts; photo booth available all evening ... props included!; raffles.  Reconnect with old friends and make new friends.  Take in the views of Newport Harbor.
10:30 p.m. Opportunity raffle (aka 50/50 raffle) - Cash or check accepted for purchase of raffle tickets throughout the evening.  Winner need not be present to win.

Parking:

Complimentary self parking on the street, or nearby city lot.

Parking is free after 6pm.

Limited disabled parking spaces available in the Harborside private parking lot; first come, first Drop off is accessible in front of the Harborside venue.

Limited valet spaces available in the Harborside private parking lot; $25 per person, first come, first served.

If you’d like to make a monetary donation of any amount towards the Reunion, and/or to cover a classmates’ ticket who may appreciate financial assistance, please include donation money along with your reunion payment, and include a note/comment. Regular and early bird rates apply as applicable; see above. Donations of gift cards for our raffle are also gladly accepted.

● Loara Women's Happy Hour:  3:00-5:00 p.m. Strawberry Farms Gold Club, Farmhouse Grill, 11 Strawberry Farms Road, Irvine, CA 92612.  Meet on the pavers, area just off the veranda.  RSVP to FB event, or text Pam Hostetler, 714-337-1520.  OK to bring female family/friends.

  • Loara Men's Happy Hour:  4:00 p.m. Mama Cozza's, 2170 W. Ball Rd., Anaheim, CA 92804.  Meet on the patio.  No RSVP needed ... just show up for pizza and fun!  OK to bring male family/friends. 

Friday Night 9/13/24 Option:

● Loara Homecoming Football Game v. Webb Schools (Claremont).  7:00 p.m. at Glover Stadium, 1125 N. LaPalma Pkwy., Anaheim, CA 92801.  A classmate may sponsor this.  If so, on the Loara side look for a sign:  Class of '74.
